Website Resources
In addition to the articles and books listed above, there are
several websites that serve as excellent resources for district
technology evaluators.
www.rtec.org
The national network of Regional Technology in Education
Consortia (RTECs) is a great place to start when looking for
information on instructional technology research, practices,
and tools.
www.schoolrenewal.org
The School Renewal Web Center is a rich resource for ideas relating
to developing new designs for learning. While not restricted
to technology, the Center provides insight into the "big picture" that
most districts are attempting to achieve with their technology
use.
www.surveyshare.com
This is a free resource useful for creating online surveys. The
site contains numerous survey templates for just about any
purpose, or you can design and operate your own custom survey.
Planning for Evaluation
This resource, produced by SEIRT*TEC, takes a similar approach
to technology evaluation as that detailed in the Process section
of Edtechevaluation.org. SEIR*TEC's resource also contains a
wealth of external resources and tools.
